After causing a series of accidents, a vet is forced to accept what he’s really good at.
Fed up with continually putting animals to sleep, a rural vet accidentally runs over a dog, starting a chain of events that challenge his skills and giving him a chance to prove he’s not just an angel of death.
"Only Humane combines gallows humour, hubris and pathos in a very kiwi setting. As a former surgeon I’m interested in ethics and empathy, and fascinated by the way that altruistic actions can be misconstrued and seem sinister when seen from another perspective. But mainly it’s the story of a guy who wants to do good but can't get a break, as the universe seems to heap crap upon him. We all know where good intentions lead."
